It's been awhile seen I blogged. I have been busy writing my latest novel, which I do over the fall and winter months. I try to write one full length Sci-Fi story each year.
My next novel is the third one in a series. It will be called Nanomachine War - Book 3, Killer Nanoboids. I just finished the first draft today. I started it in October 2018. I reached 90,000 words putting the book at around 300 pages. As I said, it's a full length novel. The story continues the war with the Yoykan Empire, which enslaves other alien races with their mind controlling nanomachines. The Military Alliance made up of Holtu androids, created by the Qumru, and the Human race are fighting the Yoyka for control of the galaxy. In this book, the Yoyka have developed a new Nanoweapon that attacks and kills intelligent beings based on their DNA. Emperor Rahta uses the nanoweapon to eliminate entire races who have rebelled against his empire. The space battles are large and fierce. It is a war to the death. The Alliance develops a similar nanoweapon to use against the Yoyka. I call it the Nanoboid Drone Weapon, which is a new term I created based on the properties of the Nanoboids and the way they attack and kill their prey. It came to me organically as I worked out the most terrible mass destruction weapon real people are trying to develop even today for warfare. I feel it has more destructive power than nuclear warfare, chemical or viral warfare. The thought of using it in warfare is simply unimaginable. The book won't be released until late May or June as I take the time to edit and proofread the story and do the same for Book 2 updates. This will conclude the Nanomachine War Series Trilogy and I believe it will be just as popular for readers as The Guardians Series. Next on tap is the new cover, which my cover designer has agreed to do for me. Once I release Book 3, I will release the Box Set Book Bundle sometime this summer. After that, I will release all three books in paperback format. It will be a busy few months considering all the marketing and promotion efforts that must also be done. I hope you enjoy this series and take some time to post reviews on Amazon if you like any of the stories. It's the best way I know to find out how I'm doing. Keep reading Sci-Fi!
