What A Month!

March Madness! Not what we were all expecting-is it?

I started the month with a two week vacation in Florida visiting friends. I left two weeks later at the start of the Pandemic in the US.

To say the least, we were not prepared for the fast spread of the virus in all 50 states. The Federal government response was too slow and ineffective. We are still lacking PPE for our frontline doctors and nurses and others. Testing has been a joke. We can not predict how fast the spread can be stopped or slowed down to the lack of everything we need. At least the public is now mostly staying at home to slow down the virus. I hope we all learn from this pandemic and prepare for the next one like we should have prepared for this one.

As for my writing I am still editing and proofreading my next book and the two other books in the series. I plan to complete this project by the end of April. My cover designer is helping to fight the pandemic in Madrid. I hope to see my new covers soon. I never thought I would experience an apocalyptic event as bad as this outside of reading a Sci-Fi novel or watching a movie.

Please, everyone, do what you can to slow down this virus and help our doctors, nurses, delivery people and anyone else who is trying to stop this pandemic as soon as they can. Stay safe and stay at home if you can.
