Year 2019 In Summary!

It was a busy year in 2019. I'm looking forward to more success in 2020.

I spent a great deal of time editing and proofreading my books. I decided it was time to release Paperback versions of my books, which required another round of edits for each book.

I released PB copies for The Guardians Series and Nanomachine War Series. Each series is a three book Trilogy, which are Space Opera Military Science Fiction stories. I believe they are very entertaining and have received 5 Star Ratings on Amazon.

In addition, I did the same for my very first novel, Alien Storm. This is a 400+ page novel about First Alien Contact that leads to a surprising conclusion. I hope you enjoy it. I giveaway free ebook copies on BookFunnel promos if you are interested.

I plan to release all my books in PB formats by the end of 2020. I do all the editing and proofreading myself to save money. I believe I find 99% of any errors by the time I release a book in PB. I use Amazon KDP for all my PB books. They look great.

I am currently working to complete my third book in the UTOPIAS Series. I decided to write a prequel I am calling Book 0, The Dark Years. It will cover the period from 2098 to 2099 when humans finally entered Cryostasis Sleep Chambers in underground bunkers due to the Climate Crisis. I am having a good time writing the novel since in pulls characters and events from Books 1 and 2. Of course, I am adding a lot of new information how everything began and the reasons behind it. I hope to release before summer 2020.

I tried a lot of new promotions, both free and paid, to promote my books in 2019. I am a bit disappointed it did not result in that many more sales in units or dollars. I believe this is due to the tremendous amount of Free and 99 Cent Only book sales in the marketplace today. I am also disappointed in the low response rate for Book Reviews for my books. Apparently, more work needs to be done to increase sales and reviews in 2020.

One new thing I will try in 2020 is to attend Book Fairs now that I have PB books available for sale. I already purchased what I need to attend my first fair. I just need to find some local library book events near me this year. If you hear of any, let me know.
